Guardian Training is what the household runs on the same navy-mat floor where Specialists rehearse before deployment. Twelve weeks: perimeter, personal defense, evacuation routing, weapon retention. Every chapter drawn from the Protocol Manual that Guardian Academy issues at Specialist graduation. Every instructor an off-rotation Specialist. Every drill ends at the bench-side terminal where the certificate is already half-printed.

Households opt in to run the same drills as the team Guardian has posted on their perimeter. They receive discounted insurance premiums, a graduation certificate for the wall, and the settled-shoulders calm that comes from having rehearsed the floor plan before the night it matters. Trained households pay lower Guardian Home subscription rates — Guardian Intelligence grades them reduced-risk. The actuarial team has measured trained-household renewal at 23 percentage points above untrained over the seven-year subscription lifecycle. The marketing department calls this "the discipline-of-love discount." Both names are accurate.

The Protocol Manual chapters issued in every tier are the same chapters Guardian Academy issues at Specialist graduation. The binder weighs 3.2 kilograms. Guardian has not reduced this weight for civilian editions.

The curriculum binder is the consumer-facing object. Navy fabric cover. Seven-pointed sheriff star embossed silver, centered. IBM Plex Mono wordmark below it: GUARDIAN TRAINING. Protocol Manual chapters bound at the back. No decorative copy. The binder is not a product — it is a duty roster the household has been handed.

The training facility is the immersive packaging. Navy-mat floor. Seven-pointed star inlaid silver at center. Instructor in full tactical uniform. Protocol Manual on the bench. No daylight — Protocol specification, not aesthetic preference. The graduation certificate ships on heavy stock, embossed star, signed by the Senior Protection Coordinator who supervised the household's final drill.

Guardian's brand strategy document describes the certificate as "the household's enrollment artifact." Every household frames it. Guardian has measured framing rates. The number is not public.

A trained household pays lower Guardian Home premiums. The discount is real, the savings are real, and the threat-profile reclassification at Guardian Intelligence that produces those savings is also real.

Course-completion data feeds back to Guardian Intelligence and updates the household's threat classification. The household accepted that data transfer when it enrolled. It is disclosed in the Guardian Household Subscription Compact under Section 4(c), "Training and Profile Integration." The Compact is available in full at guardian.net/compact and weighs, in printed form, slightly less than the Protocol Manual.

Guardian Training sells twelve weeks of drill at prices the household chooses. The household's threat profile, Guardian Home subscription tier, and device upgrade path are then managed by a single entity that has structured the discount architecture so that graduation leads to renewal leads to advanced enrollment leads to lower premiums — a loop the household entered willingly, in the interest of keeping its family safer, on a floor with a star at the center.

What does the threat-profile reclassification actually change?

Guardian Intelligence updates a household's classification after course completion. Premium rates shift. What else the reclassification affects — response priority, dispatch latency, Shield device sensitivity thresholds — is not in the Compact.

Why is the Protocol Manual not lighter for civilians?

The same document issued at Specialist graduation ships in every curriculum binder at the same 3.2 kilograms. Guardian has not produced a civilian-adapted edition. The official position is that "the discipline does not adapt to the threat." This is either a philosophy or a distribution decision.

How many households have reached Custodian+ and designed their own Sanctum?

• At least two off-rotation Specialists serving as instructors have been recalled mid-course for active deployment. The replacement instructors arrived the following session with different names and identical tactical uniforms. No official substitution notice was issued to enrolled households.

• The thirty-day expiry on the graduation discount has been engineered, according to one former Guardian marketing contractor, to land exactly at the window when the household's emotional response to completing the course is still elevated. The actuarial team calls this "post-drill purchase alignment."

• Foundation+ weapon-retention modules involving the G-7 sidearm require the household to register the drill repetitions in a Guardian-linked device log. What Guardian does with repetition-rate data from privately owned sidearms has not been disclosed.
