Beebo Button is the consent, privacy, and personal-boundary member of the Glowpatch Core Eight.
Overview
Beebo Button owns the most tempting control in the Glowpatch. It chirps at exactly one-finger height. Beebo still asks before anyone presses it.
Lala waited behind a secret door while Doodle reached for the pink button. Beebo clicked three steps back and raised one finger. “Can Doodle press?” The permission light stayed dark through a long maybe. Lala's surprise waited with it.
Doodle tried a yes, then pulled one arm away when the button chirped again. The permission light went dark at once. Beebo fastened the privacy pouch over the control. The surprise missed its cue. Doodle's changed mind did not.
The rule also covers hugs, photos, private messages, and borrowed toys. Doodle has asked to practice one fast yes and one faster no before Lala's next surprise. Beebo has placed Doodle's finger beside the covered button. The next knock has not come yet.
